Jazz Jennings on Self-Love, Spirituality, and Her Top Tools for Life
We’ve envisioned Jazz Jennings being a part of Womaze since the very beginning, so having her guest curate this week is a dream turned into a reality!
Jazz, who describes herself as a “17-year-old transgender girl just looking to create acceptance and equality in this world,” is also a profoundly wise old soul, a change-making warrior, and a gem of a human being.
As soon as we met Jazz and her extraordinary mom, Jeanette, we knew that we were in the presence of very special people. Jazz and her family have powerfully used their platform through their TLC reality show, I Am Jazz, to create change, open eyes, and inspire millions. Additionally, Jazz is the honorary co-founder of the TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation, which she and her parents founded in 2007 to assist transgender youth. She’s also the author of Being Jazz: My Life as a (Transgender) Teen and co-wrote a children's book, I Am Jazz.
We’re in awe of Jazz’s wisdom and feel so honored to share this meaningful interview with our Womaze community. We spoke about self-acceptance, mental health, spirituality, Jazz’s top tools for life, and so much more.
Bringing important conversations like these — ones that help you feel inspired, understood, and supported — is exactly why we created Womaze.
