Meet Romy, the artist behind Muchable

What is the inspiration behind the pieces of art you’ve submitted? 

Everything inspires me; sometimes I'm just walking in the street and an idea pops up in my mind. In everything around me, I see illustrations and patterns. Also, at the moment, I do a challenge everyday to create a pattern and work out a quote. I try to share words that people can use as a motivation or solace. You see so many beautiful things on Instagram that sometimes you forget that not everything in life is as beautiful as it is on Instagram. Mental illness is also an important topic on my Instagram page. I want people to know they are not alone and you need to be kind to yourself and sometimes you have to rest. And if it's not going as planned, that's okay too. 

What are you passionate about?

Illustrating definitely — I live for that. I also like to write, photograph, do sports and travel! But most of my time I spend at my desk drawing and creating new content. 

What’s one message you think the world needs to hear right now? 

It's okay if it's not okay. Not everything has to be perfect and you are not alone in this. In this world, you have to be busy all the time, but for who? We are so hard on ourselves so we really need to be kinder.
